Heavy Machinery
Be involved in the disassembly, refurbishment and replacement of heavy plant in power stations across New Zealand. We cover main generator plant including winding and assembly of generators, installation of generators, turbine overhaul as well as complete replacement. Our work often involves all LV/MV electrical connection. The main equipment is hydraulically controlled, and generally water cooled. Our crews include electrical and mechanical fitters, pipe and structural welders, riggers/crane operators and trades assistants. You will need a trade qualification as well as standard industry training like confined space and working at heights. We provide this training if you don't have it. We are also providing a limited number of apprenticeships.

Complex brownfield projects
Brownfield engineering projects in a specialist industry like the power industry are a real test of your ability to execute projects reliably. If your passionate about renewable energy, mechanical or electrical projects and have experience working in a similar industry we are always interested to hear from you. Our main roles are site based roles that move with the projects, generally in project management or site management. If you are an experienced technical supervisor on generators or turbines you are also welcome to get in touch.
